Informa has announced plans to simultaneously host two flagship healthcare events in Dubai during February 2026, creating what the company describes as the world’s largest healthcare exhibition. The strategic consolidation of WHX Dubai (formerly Arab Health) and WHX Labs Dubai (previously Medlab Middle East) will transform the emirate into a comprehensive global healthcare expo hub.
Five-day medical convergence targets substantial economic impact
Running from 9-13 February 2026, the combined events are projected to attract more than 270,000 healthcare professionals alongside over 4,800 exhibitors. This represents a significant expansion from individual event attendance figures, with organisers anticipating substantial business generation based on previous performance metrics.
The 50th edition of WHX Dubai, held earlier this year, generated a record-breaking $2.57 billion in business value, with each exhibitor experiencing an average impact of $2.14 million. Meanwhile, WHX Labs Dubai produced $621 million in business transactions during its most recent iteration.
Venue distribution spans Dubai’s exhibition infrastructure
For the first time in its 50-year history, WHX Dubai will relocate from Dubai World Trade Centre to the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai, running from 9-12 February. The event will feature nine product sectors encompassing medical devices, imaging, diagnostics, and healthcare infrastructure.
Concurrently, WHX Labs Dubai will celebrate its 25th anniversary at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 10-13 February, focusing on laboratory innovation, diagnostics, and precision medicine through eight specialised product pillars.
Educational programme expands with specialised conferences
The 2026 programme introduces significant educational enhancements, including seven CME-accredited conferences for WHX Dubai featuring over 250 speakers. New additions include four certified boot camps and three dedicated presentation stages focusing on emerging technologies, scientific advancement, and industry leadership.
WHX Labs Dubai will host the 25th Annual Laboratory Management and Medicine Congress alongside two new clinician conferences: the Precision Health Global Forum and the Antimicrobial Resistance Leadership Global Summit.
Solenne Singer, Senior Vice President at Informa Markets, said: “Dubai’s unique position will enable bold ideas and breakthroughs to cross borders rapidly, accelerating the spread of solutions from one market to another whilst reinforcing the UAE’s status as an international centre for healthcare transformation.”
