Helfie.AI has unveiled its Human Health Network, an artificial intelligence-powered platform designed to provide accessible preventative health screenings through mobile devices. The system aims to address healthcare access challenges across global populations, with particular focus on the Middle East region.
The platform can deliver a simple, 25-cent AI health check, completed in under a minute with up to 95% accuracy, according to Rania Awad, Chief Strategy Officer, who presented the company’s vision at WHX Tech Dubai recently.
Technology spans 90% of health conditions
Helfie AI will check for 90%+ of all human health conditions quickly, accurately and inexpensively via mobile, says Awad. The system offers screening capabilities across multiple health areas, including cardiovascular, respiratory, and infectious disease detection through smartphone-based assessments.
The platform’s health checks are designed to take between 15-45 seconds to complete, with accuracy rates ranging from 85-95% across different screening types. The company positions this technology as a solution for early detection and preventative care, particularly in regions with limited healthcare infrastructure.
Addressing global healthcare gaps
Despite more than US$140 trillion invested in healthcare over the past 20 years, access is worsening, Awad noted in her presentation. She cited significant global healthcare challenges, including 47 million deaths every year due to non-communicable, preventable diseases, 3.5 billion have no access to a doctor, and 100 million people have been left in poverty due to healthcare costs.
Awad emphasised the platform’s potential impact in the Middle East region. With the UAE and other Gulf states embracing digital health as a core pillar of national strategies, Helfie’s approach directly addresses regional priorities, from cost-effective access and disease prevention to harnessing high smartphone penetration for public health impact.
Multiple deployment channels
The platform is designed for integration across various sectors, including employee wellness programmes, customer loyalty initiatives, insurance applications, telecommunications services, government health programmes, and in-store physical locations through gift card offerings.
The company’s Human Health Network concept extends beyond individual screenings to include AI medical expertise, health data analytics, and networked care coordination.
“Helfie is resetting the trajectory of health by building the world’s first Human Health Network scalable across all 8 billion+ humans,” according to Awad.
The system incorporates what the company terms “active data” capabilities, where health information becomes integrated into ongoing care interactions, paired with personalised health AI assistance.
