MediLearning International has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with DataFlow Group to provide continuing professional development (CPD) and continuing medical education (CME) courses to healthcare professionals across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The MOU, signed on 11 August, makes MediLearing an official CD/ME partner on DataFlow’s TrueProfile.io platform. The platform provides CPD elearning modules for doctors, dentists, nurses, and pharmacists across the GCC.
DataFlow is the leading primary source verification provider used by regulatory authorities in the Middle East to validate the credentials of healthcare professionals. The Group has over three million registered healthcare professionals using its services.
MediLearning will initially provide more than 75 CPD modules accredited by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), with plans to increase this to more than 150 modules within twelve months. The agreement will provide healthcare professionals with access to accredited learning through the TrueProfile.io platform, which is used for professional credential verification.
MediLearning is also launching in Africa. Having had a successful meeting at Africa ExCon, Cairo in June with the Egyptian Healthcare Authority, it was agreed that MediLearning and their distribution partners ACCESS Health International, will launch a six-month pilot programme in Egypt. The pilot will roll out across 10 hospitals in the Minya region and target 1,650 doctors. Each hospital will receive a MediPro portal to track CPD activity and progress. The pilot is intended to support a potential wider rollout across Egypt.
MediLearning is also preparing to enter the Kenyan market, with accreditation applications underway with regulatory bodies in the country. It is exhibiting at WHX Nairobi in September. The expansion is designed to address gaps in CPD access and tracking across the GCC and Africa. CPD requirements and systems vary between countries, with some regulators requiring credits but offering limited digital options.

On the administration side of things, hospitals can’t often see compliance risks until HCP licences lapse, by which point it’s a regulatory and operational problem, not just an admin one. MediPro also flags licence and credit shortfalls automatically, so hospitals catch a compliance gap before a regulator does.
