Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) used its platform at the World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai 2026 to announce two significant additions to its clinical portfolio: a science-led longevity programme and the Middle East’s first AI-driven tele-compounding pharmacy platform. The announcements signal a deliberate shift in how precision medicine is being structured and delivered within one of the region’s most mature healthcare free zones.
Longevity medicine gets a clinical home
Proto Clinic is leading DHCC’s push into preventive, personalised care with a longevity programme that integrates advanced diagnostics, genomics, lifestyle medicine, and continuous monitoring.
Dr Wissam Adada, Founder and Chairman of Proto Clinic, said: “Longevity medicine requires a shift from reactive treatment to a clinically grounded, preventive approach tailored to each individual. Operating within DHCC’s ecosystem allows us to deliver the programme within a regulated, in-novation-ready environment that supports high standards of clinical care.”
The programme reflects broader global trends, as ageing populations drive demand for individualised, evidence-based strategies in long-term health management.
‘The Formula’ redefines compounding pharmacy
Perhaps the more striking announcement is ‘The Formula’, a first-of-its-kind AI-driven tele-compounding pharmacy platform launched within the DHCC ecosystem. The platform integrates clinical intelligence, pharmaceutical-grade compounding, and AI decision-support into a single secure digital workflow – allowing patients to access custom-compounded medications with personalised dosages through an end-to-end pathway covering digital consultation, AI-augmented clinical assessment, bespoke formulation, and regulated fulfilment.
Crucially, the platform is designed to augment rather than replace clinical judgement. Ameera Youssef, CEO of Acorn Research and Co-founder of The Formula, commented: “By combining AI-supported clinical insight with regulated compounding pharmacy workflows, we are redefining how customised medicines are prescribed, prepared and monitored, while ensuring patient safety and clinical governance remain central.”
Infrastructure built for precision medicine
Rashed Ahmed Alawadhi, Director of Property Management at Dubai Healthcare City Authority, said: “By providing fit-for-purpose facilities and integrated developments, we enable healthcare providers to operate efficiently, scale responsibly, and deliver high- quality outcomes within the DHCC ecosystem.”
Established in 2002, DHCC is the largest healthcare ecosystem in the region, operating across medical care, wellness, academic research, and pharmaceutical services.
